Amethyst is a stone of transformation and connection to Spirit. It is a good stone to use to activate the 6th and 7th chakras. It assists one in opening to Source or Universal energy, gently and completely. Amethyst has a similar healing energy to flowers or flower essences, particularly roses.
I have just added some new smoky amethysts from Kenya. These crystals add a whole new dimension to the purpose of this stone.
