While there are may different types of altar practices you can play with, the Mesa Altar is a specific altar type that pays homage to each of the four cardinal directions, the elements, as well as to your personal connection to your guides. It is for healing, setting intentions, and influencing the unseen.
I’ve personally had my Mesa Altar set up for more than 20 years. Over that time, it has held the power of every healing and all my intentions. Almost everything I’ve learned about the unseen world has been either at the Mesa or through it!
Your Mesa can be used for setting intentions, healing yourself and others, or even connecting you more deeply to the cosmos. It is a powerful amplifier and transmitter of spiritual power that is perfect for anyone who is serious about taking their energetic practices to the next level.

Each week we’ll explore an element and cardinal direction through shamanic journeying and meditation techniques as we build your Mesa Altar together. By the end of November, you will have a fully complete Mesa that can be used to enhance your healings and spiritual practices, as well as for setting intentions and listening to what your guides are trying to tell you.

Hi, I’m Jean Tindle. I’m the founder of Spirit Dancer Crystals and your guide to harnessing the spiritual power of crystals.
Of all that I’ve studied over the years, from learning shamanism in the rainforests of Peru to my many years of personal spiritual practice and teaching, what always spoke to me most was the healing power that the earth, through its crystals and minerals, offered.
This I know: there is so much beauty contained within this Earth and it makes itself available to us for our own healing and connection. The stones are the bones of Mother Earth. She offers them to us to use for reconnection, balance, and restoration.
I love helping others on their spiritual path, and on their path to healing. I do this by teaching workshops both online and in person, including in exotic places like Ecuador and Peru, through my community Women’s Circles, one-on-one healing and journeying sessions, and through my highly curated Crystal Shop. And of course, I absolutely LOVE helping others learn how to choose their stones and how to work with them!
It is my hope that you’ll join me in learning how to not only create your own Mesa Altar that you can use to ground your spiritual practices for years to come, but also to discover new ways to activate the power hidden deep within nature, just waiting for you to tap into!
