CEREMONIES OF TRANSFORMATION
From the moment you step off of the plane, you will be in ceremony (and it actually begins the minute you say yes).
The focus of this trip is on creating opportunities for individual and collective transformation and growth so much of our time will be spent on this. There will also be opportunities for rest and integration.
Activities will include:
- Fire and water ceremonies at sacred sites
- Trance dance and movement
- A traditional Temezcal (similar to sweat lodge) ceremony with optional medicine
- A plant medicine ceremony with San Pedro at the water
- Shamanic journeys with guided meditations
- Excursions to nearby markets
- Flute-making workshop and other indigenous arts classes
- And much more
A trip of this nature includes lots of time to process and integrate your experiences. We will also leave room for the “or betters” that the Universe provides.
THE LAND
Using the energy of four sacred volcanos and the healing waters of lagoons and waterfalls, you will dive deeply into those spaces within you that are most in need of healing and change.
We will be in the Andes highlands of Ecuador, staying in a valley near the town of Otavalo. The surrounding beauty of nature — volcanos and waterfalls — and the power of Pachamama (Mother Earth) will assist you in your transformations.
It is also no accident that we will be in the land of the equator on the Equinox. What a powerful time to set the intention to create something new at the zero point of balance light to dark, masculine to feminine, balance within reflecting and heightening balance on the planet.
YOUR FACILITATORS
Elias Patras is an Intuitive Motivator™, Author and Psychic Medium. He takes his years of experience in Intuitive Work, Life Coaching, and Teaching to support others on their journey of self-development so they can connect, educate and grow to their limitless possibilities. He was the 2019 Celebrate Your Life Speaker Program Winner and shared the stage in Sedona with Sunny Dawn Johnston, Denise Linn, Lisa Williams, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Neal Donald Walsch, Anita Moorjani and Dr. Bruce Lipton.
He has been studying energy work for over twenty years including completing an apprenticeship in Peruvian Shamanic Studies as well as co-facilitating an Earth Honoring Altar apprenticeship programs.
His commitment and passion is in teaching content that promotes growth and exploration of self. This work has a clear focus on how we co-create our life with the Divine and deserve everything that we want for our highest good.
He is also the creator of a very specialized line of Energy Balancing Sprays and Bath Salts to enhance areas of the mind, body and spirit in being balanced and aligned.
Elias believes the key to learning and personal growth is how to listen and to connect to the signs and signals that we receive. His mission is to help others understand and tap into their own intuition and inner voice.
He is an Amazon best-selling author, currently writing his second book Changing the F-You into Thank You, How to Flip the Script and See the Gift.
Jean Tindle is a gifted teacher, healer, ceremonialist, author and business owner. She has studied shamanic healing traditions of both North and South America for many years. Jean has done apprenticeships with Susan Lipshutz LCSW in Chicago, and in the U.S. with Peruvian maestro curandero don Oscar Miro-Quesada.
She has also spent many years in the jungles of Peru studying plant medicine with medicine men of the Shipibo and Capanahua tribes. She is a Kultrun drum carrier, from the Mapuche tradition in Chile. This is a tradition of feminine medicine carriers in service to Mother Earth.
Jean’s crystal business, Spirit Dancer Crystals grew out of her deep love of the Earth and its natural beauty and healing power. She teaches apprenticeships in the Peruvian shamanic tradition as well as workshops on crystals. Her current practice merges the South American healing tradition with both crystal and sound healing. She is certified in Sound Healing and Crystal Healing.
The greatest joy for Jean is in creating experiences for others to heal and empower themselves, using the deep exploration of these ancient traditions.
Jean and Elias have been teaching together for many years, both Earth Honoring Apprenticeships and personal growth experiences. Their unique voices blend together to create the alchemy of change.
ABOUT THE TRIP
WHAT’S INCLUDED
- Transfers to and from the airport in Quito, and all transportation for excursions to sacred spots. We will provide more information on when to arrive etc. closer to the date
- 7 night’s accommodation at Aya Huma Hostal based on double occupancy (single rooms may be available for an additional fee)
- All meals except on trips into villages outside of where we are staying (this will be no more than 2 lunches). Expect clean and healthy food to be served with vegetarian options. We cannot accommodate severely restrictive diets.
- All ceremonies, teachings, and experiences at sacred sites
- Massages are available and included in the cost
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED
- Airfare to Quito and back
- 2 lunches offsite
- Any extra healing sessions you may want to schedule with shamans we will be working with
- Any souvenirs or extras you might need
HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS
- As with all places on Earth right now, COVID is a consideration. At this moment in time you are required to show proof of a COVID19 vaccination and booster, or a negative RT-PCR or antigen test taken 72 hours prior to boarding the plane to enter Ecuador. This may change and we will keep you updated.
- You will need to have a moderate level of fitness for this trip. There will be hiking involved and some will be at higher altitudes. Be sure to consult your health care person for information on altitude remedies and fitness. Personal travel insurance is recommended
- Trips that involve plant medicine require a level of physical and emotional health. In deeply transformative journeys, emotional issues can be brought up. Ultimately we are all responsible for our own healing, however, so please check in with yourself/your doctor, therapist etc. before signing up. You will be required to sign a liability waiver before departure.
ACCOMODATIONS & SINGLE ROOM OPTIONS
We will be staying at the Aya Huma Hostal near the Pechuge Waterfalls. Rooms are simply furnished and each room has its own bathroom with plenty of hot water. Prices are based on double occupancy with possible singe rooms available for an extra charge. Please let us know if you will require a single room and we will try to accommodate.

OTHER TERMS: We can take 15 people on this trip. To reserve your spot you can pay a $1200 deposit with payment in full due by Feb.15, 2023. Please note that the discount does not apply to those paying only a deposit.
Payment is refundable minus $200 handling fee until Dec. 30, 2022. Between 12/30/22 through 2/15/23 you will be refunded ½ of your full payment for cancellations. No refunds after 2/15/23.
