Listing stones by chakra provides a helpful reference for those of you who do healing work with your crystals.

The chakra system originated in India several thousand years ago. It describes 7 major energy centers in the body, and their corresponding functions.

All traditions seem to have some to have an understanding of locations in the body/energy field where energy concentrates and spins. These are points where health and wellbeing can be restored both physically and energetically.

In this section stones are listed by chakra/color. This is by no means a complete list, however it is a good place to begin.
