We all have a very unique and profound relationship with our mothers, those who gave birth to us or those who acted as mother to us.
These relationships shape us in deep and lasting ways, often pushing buttons we forgot we even had..
What we don’t always experience is the unconditional love that “mother” represents. From the moment we are separated from our mother at birth, we crave a deep connection, a bond that resonates with the safety and love we knew before birth.
There is another mother, however, who sustains us all of our life: Mother Earth.
Join us on this transformative journey to reconnect with the Mother who loves us all — unconditionally. We will explore, in a safe and loving space, a reconnection to body and spirit — to ourselves, to our tribe, and to the nurturing embrace of nature.

WHERE YOU’LL BE:
Through many years of travel to find my tribe, I have found the “heartland” of the Midwest to be a place where it is easier to get grounded, to come back to myself, to get grounded in my body.
We will be holding this retreat at Terramuse Wellness Sanctuary in Mechanicsville, IA, which is located in Iowa’s creative corridor. Small arts communities are found in the surrounding areas.
Situated on 47b acres of prairie, forest, and waterways, Terramuse is a center dedicated to self-enrichment and land preservation.
This landscape is a place where, if you look closely, you will see fairies at play and the elementals dancing.
This modern retreat center offers comfort and delicious food to nourish body and soul.
YOUR FACILITATORS
Moira Scullion Moira has dedicated over 25 years to the healing arts, exploring the body through massage therapy, metaphysics, earth wisdom, and spiritual healing. She is an ordained Minister of Prayer, a Maitri Breathwork Facilitator, and an Advanced Life Mastery and Spiritual Life Coach. Her journey includes apprenticing in shamanic traditions under various esteemed teachers.
Moira co-created a transformative one-year personal growth retreat series and feels honored to facilitate sacred healing spaces. She guides those who are curious and seeks to empower individuals to live a life connected to their own power through awareness, intention, and the Medicine of their Soul.
Moira and Jean have spent many years traveling the medicine path together. They are so honored to be able to create this experience for you.
Jean Tindle is a gifted teacher, healer, ceremonialist, author and business owner. She has studied shamanic healing traditions of both North and South America for many years. Jean has done apprenticeships with Susan Lipshutz LCSW in Chicago, and in the U.S. with Peruvian maestro curandero don Oscar Miro-Quesada.
She has also spent many years in the jungles of Peru studying plant medicine with medicine men of the Shipibo and Capanahua tribes. She is a Kultrun drum carrier, from the Mapuche tradition in Chile. This is a tradition of feminine medicine carriers in service to Mother Earth.
Jean’s crystal business, Spirit Dancer Crystals grew out of her deep love of the Earth and its natural beauty and healing power. She teaches apprenticeships in the Peruvian shamanic tradition as well as workshops on crystals. Her current practice merges the South American healing tradition with both crystal and sound healing. She is certified in Sound Healing and Crystal Healing.
The greatest joy for Jean is in creating experiences for others to heal and empower themselves, using the deep exploration of these ancient traditions.
Jean and Moira have spent many years traveling the medicine path together. They are so honored to be able to create this experience for you.

Because of the deep work we will be doing, this retreat is limited to 13 participants. It will be an inclusive and loving group.
We will be meeting from 3pm CT on Friday, Oct. 4th to 2pm CT on Sunday, Oct. 6th.

- Travel to and from the retreat center Terramuse is about 40 minutes from the Eastern Iowa airport.
- If you are driving, the retreat center is about 3.5 hours from Chicago and 2.5 hours from Madison WI2

There are six single rooms at the retreat center. Rooms are assigned in the order people sign up. If you want to room with someone, just let us know and we will try our best to accommodate.
